Think you’re gonna like this Keylime jello salad reminiscing of a Keylime pie

Keylime salad has in the fridge. It’s not ready to eat since it’s chilled and solidified.

Reasons that you’re gonna love this Keylime

  • Ingredients are easy to source
  • In four hours
  • Easier to make
  • Has a nice simple flavor

Ingredients I need to make this Keylime Jell-O salad

  • boiling water need the boiling water for the gelatin and dissolve the gelatin completely into the next about the hot water in the gelatin wouldn’t dissolve
  • 6 oz lime jello This is how we make the mine flavor is also going to give the green color to make sure as well. You can either use sugar-free or sugar both work.
  • 8 oz cream cheese had some thickness and cream to the Jell-O helps, give it its density
  • ½ cup butter this helps the base stay together so that it doesn’t all fall apart. Also helps to make it so that the pretzels don’t get all mushy.
  • 2 cups heavy whipped cream out of the Jell-O mixer so that it’s light and fluffy used to make a whipped cream can be replaced with whipped cream topping if you prefer and I’ll make it
  • ¼ cup sugar helps make the whipped cream and eggs, bring up the sweetness
Pretzels have been crushed up in food processor and ready, so it be mixed in to go into the strawberry pretzel salad

How to make

Base

In the start by making the base by crushing up the pretzels or whatever outside, you’re going to be using you put in the bottom of the pan 13 and put that in the fridge chill

Make whip whipped cream

Add sugar and heavy cream into a mixer be on high until ridges. Start to form in the cream remove in such aside and put in fridge

Cream cheese mixture

Come back in the cottage cheese and cream cheese together, preferably using a food process or a blender to make smooth

Make the gelatin

Start by boiling 2 cups of water in the bowl of gelatin and mixed together for about five minutes I’m completely mixed. And the cold water mixed together a little bit more. Having cream cheese mixture and mix thoroughly finally add in whipped cream. He was a spatula to fold in so that doesn’t crush their bubbles out of it.

Spoon in over base and put in the fridge to chile for about 4 hours

Serve cold and enjoy

I can see the key lime and the strawberry pretzel salad sitting in the fridge to chill nice red color the other kind of light green

Variations that you can try

  • I don’t know if I really need to go into the variations of their stress because there’s something different kinds of Jell-O that you could use and ways that you could do it or also going to be sharing a strawberry one that’s a little bit different but there’s lots of different variations that you can do and stress be that people have made that we’ve done over the years We’ll go over just in a few for ideas if you wanna try.
  • I’m gonna change up the base you could do different kind of cookies, graham crackers or some other kind of cookie. I think you’re a really nice base for it.
  • You can change up a type of gelatin you’re using so you can change the flavor so you could do like an orange in my opinion kind of like a cream sickle also strawberry pretty much any Jell-O feel like works for this
  • Can try adding some toppings by putting fruit on top of it or whipped cream or some kind of candy
  • Instead, instead of wax in the cream cheese and frosting, which is similar to another recipe that we’ve done, you can just have the base cream cheese, whipped cream, and then have the Jell-O on top

Storing

Give me store in the fridge for the four days. It also means that you can make this four days before you want to have it so that you don’t have to worry about it the day of.

Notes

You can toast the pretzels to make them have more flavor. Most helps the butter to solidify and chill, but you do have to let the whole rest chill longer so that it doesn’t melt and it’ll take longer to cool.
Instead of just using cool water, you can also use ice to the Jell-O mixture quicker to help reduce the amount of time that you have to put it in the freezer
