Miniature quiches as you may call quiche bites. I’ve always been one of my favorite snacks growing up is something that my mom would make.  They have an amazing flavor and relatively easy to make. Or we would get form Sam or Castro. Another name that i saw when working on writing this was quiche muffins. I think that pretty much discribes it as you use a muffin tin thought of using it but though now im not that clever just stay with what I was going to.

  • Eggs – helps hold every thing together a d added  some nice fludd
  • Milk and cream. – helps make every thing nice and creamy and help the eggs rise. If you need you can use half and half. Which is just half milk and half cream what is what your making
  • Seasoning helps give extra flavor and brighten the dish up we like to use garlic and onion powder spices that we use a lot that help give a addibral burst of flavor

The mini quiche has have been made and I’ve been added to the oven. You can see across sticking out from underneath the filling. pouring so they know all level

How to make miniature quiches

Gonna start with the prep here to chop up the spinach cut out 2 1/2 inch circles and get the rest of your ingredients out

Going to preheat the oven at 375 and going to grease the muffin tin so that day muffin quiche

You’re going to sauté the spinach to get any moisture out of it so that it doesn’t add moisture so liquid make it so that you have to cook it longer, which can’t make it so that you burn the crust before it settles

You’re going to make the eggs, milk, heavy cream, onion powder, and garlic powder mix it altogether along with the spinach

Once everything is prepared, you’re gonna go ahead and stick the 2 1/2 inch circles of crust into the muffin tins lightly pressing down to get them into the bottom of the pan and then add a small amount of cheese in each 10 and then going to pour the mixture over the top of each one filling too or a little bit above Pie crust

I attend to normally have extra a mixture left over. You can either use this to make crustless quiche, or you can also make scrambled eggs out of it as well. Part of the reason that we have you make so much in the past if we haven’t made this much we always end up with a little too small amount so it’s better to have a little extra.

Here then going to Cook in the oven for 20 minutes or until the pie crust is nice and golden and egg mixture has solidified. You can test by using a toothpick to make sure that it solid.

After you pull out of the oven, that’s it for approximately five minutes and then go around with a butter, knife and pop out and enjoy

Mini quiches have been pulled out of the oven the filling has fluffed up and has a brighter yellow color and the crust good color

Storing and reheating

You can store in an airtight container for up to 3 day

Frezzfibg if you would like to fresze them read on a plate  after letting cool complete to get rid of exces moisture and the place in a plastic freezer safe bag or container

Reheating

Let thaw if need and heat oven to 375 and heat tell warmed up about 10 minutes or you can use microwave but alway feel like that makes them. A little rubbery

Variations of this recipe that you can try

Crust less – leave off the crust

Try adding some. Bell peppers

Trying adding a little more protein with some ham or bacon

Added a little spice by adding a. Jalapeño

Make mini with a mini muffin pan

Ingredients

  • 1 pie crust
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup heavey cream
  • 1 cup spinach lightly packed
  • ½ cup shredded cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Equipment

  • muffin pan
  • oven
  • measuring cups and spoons

Method

  1. Chop up the the spinach is relatively small so that they can easily be mixed in with the other ingredients
  2. Then want to sauté the spinach so that we get rid of some water content in it this will also make you that spinach shrink a little as well. Sauté for about 15 minutes.
  3. Mix, eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, mixed together in a bowl
  4. Get about 2 1/2 in circles from the pie crust typically I can get about 10 and then I have to mash together in the pie crust and then roll out again so I can get the final ones
  5. Grease the python and the piecrust to each 10 add a little bit of cheese to each
  6. Mix in the spinach with your egg milk mixture and then pour in to the python. I should go to about the same height as the piecrust.
  7. Place in the oven for 30 place in the oven for 20 minutes
  8. After pie crust has cooked and egg mixture has solidified pull out of the oven and enjoy

Notes

If you’re using the silicone pan, you’re gonna wanna put it on my cookie sheet before you add any mixture to it because they tend to be floppy and the fluid will go everywhere
If you don’t have heavy cream and melt, you can also use half-and-half
Whole milk seems to work best the best
I think the ⅓ measuring cup is the right airs at least the one we have is
