     Ingredients

    Carrots - Peel and shred about 2 pounds of carrots for a crisp, naturally sweet base that soaks up all the delicious flavors of the dressing.

    Garlic - Fresh garlic adds a bold, savory flavor. Finely grate or mince the cloves so they blend evenly throughout the salad.

    Green Onions - Green onions add a mild onion flavor and a pop of fresh color. 

    Soy Sauce -Soy sauce provides the salty, umami base for the dressing. 

    Toasted Sesame Oil - A drizzle of toasted sesame oil gives the salad its signature nutty flavor.  It’s very flavorful, so a little goes a long ways.

    Fresh Ginger -Fresh peeled and grated ginger adds a bright, slightly flavor that works perfectly with the carrots and sesame oil.

    Chopped Peanuts - Chopped peanuts add a satisfying crunch and a rich flavor.

    How to Make Carrot Salad

    • Added the carrots to a bowl 
    • Make the dressing and mix well
    • Top with green onions and peanuts

     Tips

    • Use freshly shredded carrots for the best texture.
    • Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving so the flavors blend.
    • Pat the carrots dry if they seem very wet after shredding.
    • Toast the nuts before adding them for extra flavor.
    • Don’t overmix, or the carrots can become watery.

    Variations

    Try adding some different t nuts or seeds like  sesames seeds or sunflower

    Try adding some portion like grilled chicken or pulled pork for a more complete meal

    Try adding some fruit for some seeet flavor

    Ingredients Method

    Ingredients
      

    • 2 pounds carrots shredded
    • 2 cloves garlic minced
    • 1 bunch green onionspp
    • 1 Tbls Soy sauce
    • 1 ½ tablespoons Toasted sesame oi
    • 1 ½ Garlic pilled and shredded
    • 1 cup Peanuts chopped

    Method
     

    1. Added the carrots to a bowl
    2. In a separate bowl added the soy sauce, sesame oil and garlic mix together
    3. Pour over the carrots and mix together well
    4. Added green onions and peanuts
