Ingredients that you need

  • ground pork: can’t have a pork salad without pork. You could also use shredded pork, but that does mean that you have to cook it longer. If you have some, you can use that as well. Otherwise, just use some ground pork. Add the seasoning to a cricket you can ride to the south.
  • Lettuce:,  you can use part of a head of lettuce or you use a Romain heart.
  • Corn has a nice light brightness to it
  • Poblano Pepper add a little bit of heat and color to the dish even though it’s green with a hint of orange
  • Seasoning we like to is a nice fajitas mix we have liked using the grill master mojito lime marinade mix but you could also make you own or try this recipe for it from simply joy
  • Sour cream that I have a little bit of creaminess to the dish and coat, lettuce and
  • Helps the seasoning stick better it it holds it
  • Salad dressing we like to use chipotle ranch dressing as it added a little heat a little color and is just a nice dressing. But you really can use just a dressing you would like with it
We cooked the whole pepper but we left somr to the side after cooking because it can be little hot for every one but if you want more they are on the side

How to make fiesta salad

Prepare the ingredients for the pork salad.

Make sure that you have everything ready to go cause this dish can be made relatively fast.

I Like to start getting a pan  hot and add the pork to it with a little bit of oil  to start browning the pork.

Then I chop up the lettuce it doesn’t take too long by the time I’m done chopping up the lettuce.

You can then start breaking up pork in a little bit add the seasoning and then cook the pork in tell there is no more pink. Move pork to a plate.

Then put pan back over heat then you can add the corn and the peppers to the pan with some seasoning a little bit of oil for a few minutes until we come tender get some color.

You can then go ahead and add half of the peppers and corn cheese and pork dish. Save the rest for later.

If Add sour cream dressing and cheese all mixed together and a large bowl.

Once it’s all mixed together, you can go ahead and pull out and just out into each dish a little bit of pork cheese, peppers for the rest

fiesta pork salad has been mad and had bee added to bowl little extra cheese and pork has been a added to the top has a nice combination of colors from the cheese tomatoes pork and lettuce

Variations you can make of this dish

  • we’d like to try and make it more spicy. You can also buy some jalapeños as well or use some additional spices.
  • You could also add some chips as well as the list to give it a little bit of crunch
  • I see he use a different kind of dressing to give it some different flavors
  • You could also make this with chicken, beef or turkey or different flavor profil you can also leave the meat off completely

The recipe sounds delicious and straightforward! I love how quick and easy it seems to make this pork salad. Starting with browning the pork and then adding the fresh veggies and seasoning is a great way to build flavor. I’m curious, though, do you think it would work just as well with chicken instead of pork? Also, what kind of cheese do you recommend using for the best taste? The sour cream dressing sounds like a perfect finishing touch—do you ever add any herbs or spices to it for extra flavor? I’m definitely going to try this recipe soon, but I’d love to hear your thoughts on these tweaks!

Yes, this would work well with chicken as the well.
I think a feta would be nice but I think some shredded cheese would be nice as well and that is normally what we have in had
I think herbs could be a really nice addition. Cayenne could be nice for adding a little heat, or some chives for an onion flavor. Others could work as well, but those are some I have done.
      Thank you for your question
