Keylime jello salad

Think you’re gonna like this Keylime Jell-O salad reminiscing of a Keylime pie

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups pretzels crush about 4 cups in crushed
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 6 oz lime jello
  • 8 oz cream cheese room temp
  • 2 cups Cottage cheese
  • ½ cup butter
  • 2 cups heavy whipped cream
  • ¼ cup sugar

Equipment

  • 9x13 casserole dish

Method
 

Base
  1. Pressure of the base and mix together with butter and make your base using pretzels. You may want to toast to bring out extra flavor, but this is an optional part. You do have to let it cool down after doing this or it will just melt the rest.
Whipped cream
  1. Have heavy cream and sugar and be until Highridge start to form if you’re using food mixer use the whiskey, attachment and put on high
Cream cheese
  1. Mixed together, cream cheese, and cottage cheese, and if we processor until they become smooth set aside and put in the fridge to chill
Gelatin
  1. Prepare gelatin bring 2 cups of water to boil one’s water is boiling added to a cup bowl with gelatin mixture makes thoroughly once it is thoroughly combined the cool water
  2. Mix the cream cheese mixture in the gelatin
  3. Fold in the whipped cream
  4. Spoon the mixture over the top of your base in place back in the freezer until it specifies about 2 to 4 hours
  5. And enjoy

You can toast the pretzels to make them have more flavor. Most helps the butter to solidify and chill, but you do have to let the whole rest chill longer so that it doesn’t melt and it’ll take longer to cool.
Instead of just using cool water, you can also use ice to the Jell-O mixture quicker to help reduce the amount of time that you have to put it in the freezer
