Ingredients that you will need
- Rice- typically like to use white rice for this dish, but you can also use brown rice. Makes a nice base for the shrimp and salsa and plantains to go onto.
- water-just needed to make the rice
- corn kernels-had a nice killer of the ocean also has a nice crunch protector. It’s a great little addition.
- black beans-help side, a little texture to the dish. It’s nice addition.
- green onions-spring out with some nice onion flavors that’s a little bit of green to the dish as well and has a nice texture
- adobo Seasoning-the combination of black pepper, salt, garlic powder, cumin, oregano, paprika, other seasonings has a really nice flavor. If you would like to make your own adob seaming here is a recipe
- Plantains-got a nice sweet dish to the dish, nice and tender have a nice sweet banana type flavor to them
- shrimp-like to use medium size shrimp for this or nice size for it we’re not too big. They’re easy to come by. Tend to like to get the ones that are already deveined and shelled.
- garlic -have had some really nice flavor and over automatics to the dish
- Butter-I’m spring out. Nice flavor helps the shrimp caramel a little bit
