If you love banana bread, you’re going to love this amazing muffin recipe putting your favorite bread into muffins. With this recipe  we  sure to get the chocolate flavor thought the whole muffin. You’re going to love these amazing chocolate banana banana  muffins.

Muffins have been pulled out of the oven and we have roasted them in the pan to help them cool and we don’t have a cooling sheet they have puffed up nicely as well from where they where

Reason that you’re going to love this recipe

  • We made relatively fast and a little less than an hour
  • Has everything that you love about banana bread and the smaller package that you can eat on the run.
  • Has the chocolate flavor through out
  • Use up bananas after some people want to throw them away

Ingredients that you’ll need

  • Rip bananas -need overly ripe bananas for this  I like to r banana to be mostly brown and yellow if not all brown.  I do it so that they’re super soft and they’re gonna have plenty of moisture to give to the muffins you’re gonna want to mash them up really well so that gets mixed in
  • Sugar -add a little extra sweetness to the banana bread if you wanted to be even sweeter, you can have them to half cup, but with the sweetness from the bananas and the sugar. I think the ⅓ cup is plenty
  • Milk – help banana bread to fluff up as its bakes. I feel like whole milk maybe gives a little bit more fluff because of having more fat and stuff in it but he’s whatever milk that you like.
  • Oil – Is needed for the baking process and to help to make sure that the muffins don’t stick in the pan. and helps to make sure that the muffins are moist.
  • Flour – for this we use an all purpose flour, which helps hold all the ingredients together to make amazing muffins.  If you want you can substitute about half a cup of whole flour into the recipe if you like some people tend to think that makes a little bit healthier.  If you add much more than that. It just makes it a lot heavier and they don’t rise as well.
  • chocolate chips ground to powder the chocolate chips I like to grind these up because, sometimes my kids will just dig out the chocolate chips instead of eating the muffins. This also makes it so that you don’t have just little bit chocolate chips are making sure that they get make sure that the muffins have chocolate flavor throughout sometimes will make it so that they’re not as grounded and so you will get a little bit more chocolate and some others, you can just add chocolate chips
  • vanilla extract -this helps add amazing flavor and helps tired all together
  • salt – help bring out the flavor of  everything. It helps in the baking process as well. I’m not that great at baking, but I know that it’s needed to help work.
  • Baking powder & baking soda-baking powder and baking soda or two different different things but they both have similar effects although it’s my understanding that they do it a little bit of different way but the important part is that they both help the muffins to rise so they’re nice and fluffy for you
Every thing has been mixed together other then the chocolate powder is siting on the top siting in a mixing bowl

How to make banana bread muffins

Mixing ingredients together: I like to start by adding the bananas and any of the wet ingredients and I tend to like to mix that all together so that it mix through and I can make sure that the bananas are smashed up well

Now mix in the rest of the ingredients  know some other people like to mix the dry and wet and different bowls and then combine I haven’t seen any issues that make me think so I just like to do it because it is easier

Bake: preheat your oven to 350. You’re gonna go ahead and grease your muffin pan. You gonna try and put an even amount of muffin batter in each of the muffin place in the oven for about 30 minutes check with a toothpick that comes out I should be good if not, put it back in the oven tell done, cool and serve

Batter has been added to the muffin tin and is ready to added to the oven to bake. Batter has a nice dark color

Verations that you can make

Add coco nut – I always love having a little bit of coconut to them sometimes it is just kind of fun addition.

Don’t grind the chocolate chip just put them in whole and just have chocolate chip muffins instead of the chocolate muffins

Try wheat flour try adding a half a cup of wheat flour instead of the some of the flower this makes for a little bit dancer muffin and someways maybe a little bit healthier

You can also try frozen blueberries and you can either still have the chocolate or you can remove that and just have blueberry  banana muffins

Try adding nuts that I haven’t done it with this recipe, but I know other people that have enjoy it
