This is an amazing appetizer for game day or any family get togrther this amazing slow cooker pizza dip is perfect for any party or get-together and goes great with your favorite chips.

Why you will love this recipe:

Stays warm in the slow cooker and can easily be reheated 

Is easy out together and only takes a few ingredients to make it 

All the ingredients that you will need. Cheese,cream cheese, seasoning, tomato sauce and pepperoni

Ingredients that you will need:

Cream cheese: this helps to thicken the sauce and adds a creamy texture 

Cheese: this adds a nice pulle to the dip and who doesn’t love some nice cheese   We like to use Italian blend cheeseas: which is a nice mix of several different cheeses for the dip. If you prefer or can only find mozzarella you can use that cheese but any melty cheese should work. We haven’t tried them all so we can’t say for sure. 

Tomato sauce: this is the base of the sauce. We like to use tomato sauce as it lets you have more control of the flavor you could also start with a pizza sauce if you would like to

Garlic powder: helps to add flavor

Italian seasoning: helps to add flavor and if you don’t have some you can make some or you can just add some Basel and oregano 

Pepperoni: adds texture and flavor. You use normal pepperoni. It can be easier to us mini pepperoni as you don’t have it. Cut them up and then topping it also makes it so there is more of them to go around and people don’t fight for them

How to make

Make: chop up thr pepperoni excepted e8 for to ping added cream chees, sauce seasoning and half the chese

Cook: let melt in the crock pot and let Cooke one hight for 1 ½ hours or on low for about 2 ½ -3 hours stiring about every half hour

Top: added the rest of the cheese and the remaining pepperoni and let cheese melt take a about 20 minutes

Serve: with chips of toasted bread. Some of are favorites are corn and ruffled chips

Tips

  • Stir the dip occasionally to get it to combine
  • Don’t use non-fat cream cheese you need the fat for the creaminess
  • Don’t be afraid to make it. 
The dip is melting and mixed together has a blue coming on it I will have to turn it of ext time maybe

Varations

Chang up the cheese:choose a different melty cheese that you like and try it out

Change the toppings: you could add a cooked protein try adding some vegetables to the mix for are family if we do this some time we have to really cut them up so they fall under the radar

Change the base:if your not filling the tomato you could go with and alfredo or bbq sauce to make the it is the same but different 

Pop: added some pepers or jalapeno you can added them just to the or you can added them thought out

How to store and reheat ?

You can keep in an airtight container they tipicly say you could keep something like this in the fridge for 4 day but I have seen it last longer and I have also seen it turn sooner in part it is going to depend on how long it was left out and what all got into it when it was out.

Can you make with out a a slow cooker?

Yes you will make it in a pan and bake it in the oven at 350 it will take about about 15 – 20 minutes

Can you make it a head of time

Yes you sure can can make it that some day or you can start the combination and start the combination in the freedge for the next day and then just cooking and adding topings

  • 8 oz of cream cheese softened
  • 2 cups Italian cheese blend
  • 8 oz tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian blend seasoning
  • 5 oz pepperoni

Method
 

  1. Pull out 8 of the pepperoni for topping
  2. up the rest of the pepperoni to be added in to the dip.
  3. Added the cream cheese, tomamto sauce, garlic powder, and half the cheese stir intel combines
  4. Let cook on high for one and a half hours or one low for 2 ½ to 3 hours stirring about every 30 minutes
  5. Top with the rest of the cheese and added the remaining 8 pepperoni and let cook tell cheese is melted about 20 minutes
  6. Enjoy with chips or toasted bread one of are favorite is ruffled chips
