This is an amazing recipe that only takes a few ingredients that have an amazing flavor and color to add to many dishes. This simple dish has an amazing payoff. You're going to love this homemade strawberry sauce.

Strawberry sauce has been added to German pan. And has been served on a plate. Strawberry have a nice red color

Recipes that you may enjoy having with this sauce

    • German pancakes
    • Pancakes
    • Waffles
    • Ice cream
All the ingredients that you will need siting on that stove.

    Ingredients that you need

    • strawberry - you will want to use strawberries that are ripe for the best results don't use unripe strawberry.
    • granulated sugar- strawberries are already pretty sweet does a little more sweetness but mostly it helps to thicken and make it so that the sauce has a more syrup-like consistency.
    • vanilla - helps with having a nice aroma and does add a hit of flavor.
    •  lemon juice - helps with the flavor and aroma some people say that fresh lemon juice is better but I haven't noticed a difference between the two.

    How to make

You're going to start by cutting up the strawberry then you going to add all the ingredients to a pan or pot on the stove over medium heat and stir it all together to tell juice has been released and start to thicken. Then you should be ready to serve.

Little bit of the sauce added to a small jar just for fun

    Questions that you may have:

How can I thicken the sauce?

Well, the first option is just to cook it a little longer and let more of the moisture leave the other option is to add a little corn starch. Just remember it will think as it cool as well. So you don't want it to be too thick.

What if I make it too thick?

If the sauce is too thick, put it back on the heat. If it is one longer there add a little bit of water at a time about tablespoon at a time and stir till combined.

Have a nice color, light and fluffy and see a dark layer caramel on side of the other monkey bread it does look a little bit dark on this one. We were a little bit close to burning it. Luckily, we didn’t go outside. It will be a little bit harder or the inside of me kinda nice gooey.
