Oven bacon

Oven bacon is amazing bacon that just cook in the oven comes out relative even and typically you don’t get as burned of bad or burn parts because it’s evenly cooked and you can do large batches

Bacon has come out of the oven and has shriveled a little bit you can see where the bacon started and are all the bacon free that has come off. You can see the fat bubbling up a little one the bacon

Honestly, I didn’t really want to try this way when we first started to do it. I could just kind of cook it in the pan can just make sure it turns out the way that I want but when you make a bunch of activity so I got talked into trying it, and I worked really well instead of having a little burning edges or parts that cook faster than others to the pan being called another spot This way the bacon honest relatively easily so that you don’t have parts that have different Christmas or parts that aren’t really cooked is all I also rendered out the fat really nicely, made it really easy to scrape up out of the pan or off of the parchment paper and then into our cup be used later or you need to throw away with minimal cleanup on the pan sheet pan

Reason that you should Cook baxon in the oven

Can cook a bunch at all at one time so you can cook for the whole family of big or larger groups 

Don’t have to stand over the pan waiting for the turn and just so that it doesn’t burn. You can focus on other tasks so it makes it easier to multitask 

It’s gonna be easy cleanup after

To make a bunch of bacon, all at once, either for a party or easy meal prep they all get perfectly chrispy 

Great way to be able to also get bacon grease for the recipe like baked potatoes or cooking eggs in the morning about having to use a bacon each time really easy to pick it up for other recipes

The recipe is a great way to make pre-cooked bacon rather than paying the extra price and cook it how you want

Bacon has been laid out one a baking sheet on top of a sheet of parchment paper so that there is space bewerbt them I like to make sure there is enough paper over the edges so that the fat does not fall off

How to make oven roasted bacon

First step preheat oven. 400  and prep pans by laying out parchment paper

Second step lay bacon out on sheet pans so they are not over lapping 

Cooke bacon in for 13 minutes check I like to flip them over at this time but I think it is more a carry over from making bacon before 

Once it has reach how chrispy you would like pull it out even a little early as it does Cooke after pulling out

Variations of this recipe 

Million dollor bacon take only a few more steps to make as well.  And gonna take this to a whole new level. This is adding brown sugar,pepper, and syrup and more to make like will take you recipe

You can also add seasoning and brown sugar to them some cases before a little sweet carmilized

Bacon has a nice dark color and has a nice glisten to it

Storing 

Wrapp in paper towel and put in air tight container

What you have with bacon

Well really any thing you want really but here are a few of are breakfast favorites to have it with. 

  • creme brulee breakfast casserol
  • Frittata
  •  Breakfast Pizza
  • German pancakes
  • Egg bites
  • Biscuit and gravy
  • Cinnamon rolls 
  • eggs and has brown casserole
  • Crockpot breakfast casserole 

This also goes great with sandwiches and hamburgers like the BLT

All the bacon has been added to a plate on to a nice large pile there is a shadow cast over them. T HH ey have a nice dark color.

  • 1 lb Bacon

  • Baking sheet

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°
  2. Lion baking sheet with parchment paper
  3. They are baking on the baking sheet so they don’t overlap
  4. Place in Auburn for at least 13 minutes in check
  5. We wait until desired crispiness
  6. Pull off of sheet pan on paper towel access fat drainer
  7. And serving enjoy

Notes

You can do more bacon the one pound but you will need to break it up on to sheet pans and probably need to over different times. You may want clean some of the fat off the pan in between sets
