This is a great treat to give you a little extra energy and the coffee and chocolate really bring out each other amazing flavor It also has an amazing topping that adds to how amazing it is these Coffee Brownies

The ingredients that you will need
All-purpose flour - is a ver versial and is the base of the
Salt - not only will salt help pull out flovor but it also makes it so that gluten bonds are strengthened
Baking soda -this isa leaveningagent that help so it adds bubbles to your baking
Choocolate - You will need some for melting we like to use Hershey Cookies and Cream chocolate bars
Butter - This adds laovr
White Sugar - this is used for flavore and helps to lock in the moisture
Brown Sugar- this helps keep moister and als make it so that there is less are pockets
Eggs - hep hold it all together and that they added structure
Coffee Flavored Liqueur - this adds flavor
Brewed Coffee this adds a nice rick flavore to the brownies
How to make Coffee Brownies
Pre heat oven to 375. Combin flour salt and baking soda in a bowl. Place chocolates in the top of a double boiler. Stir frequently with spatula and scrap off the sids so make sure that chocolate does not scorch this will tack about 5 minutes Cream butter in a large mixer combine the rest of the brownies ingreadtions together and mix amd then added to pan and cook. Once cooked allows to cool before frosting.
Process that you will need to know
Creaming butter -is process used in baking where you mix butter and sugar together to get an even mixture though out that helps the butter be softer. In this case you are going to mix in more then the
Double boiler - is some thing that can be bought but it is also some that that you can make at your home with a pan full of water and then above that you have a pan or bowl that is above the simmering water. This keeps the above pan from getting to hot.
What you will need
Pan with water to be boiled
A metal bowl (Glass can be used but it needs to be safe to be used with heat )for the chocolate to melt without it being on direct heat for there to be a lease chance of burning the chocolate.
If your are goiign to just keep for a few days you can save them in an air tight container. If you want to keep longer you can keep in the fridge for a week if you want longer then you should freeze them

Coffee Brownies
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 6 small/ fun size Hershey cookies and cream chocolate bars.
- ½ pound butter softened
- ¾ cup white sugar
- ¾ pound dark brown sugar firmly packed
- 2 large eggs
- 3 tablespoons coffee-flavored liqueur such as Kahlua®
- ¼ cup brewed coffee
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Sift together flour, salt, and baking soda in a medium bowl. Set aside.
- Place chocolate squares in the top of a double boiler over simmering water. Stir frequently, scraping down the sides with a rubber spatula to avoid scorching, until chocolate is melted, about 5 minutes. Set aside.
- Cream butter in a large bowl with an electric mixer. Add sugar, brown sugar, eggs, coffee-flavored liqueur, vanilla extract, melted chocolate, coffee granules, and the flour mixture, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in chocolate morsels, followed by walnuts and pecans until thoroughly mixed. Pour batter into a 9x12-inch baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven until the top is dry and the edges have started to pull away from the sides of the pan, about 25 minutes. Let cool, for about 20 minutes.
- Spread frosting on top of cooled brownies.
