Ingredients :

3 pounds Brussels sprouts

12 oz pound bacon

½ cup Maple syrup

brussel sprout added to baking pan and has layer of bacon

How to make:

Start by cutting up Brussels sprouts in half

There are 2 different ways that we like to make the recipe the first is when we do a smaller amount and the other is when we have a large group we are cooking. If we are doing the 3 pounds then we chop up the bacon otherwise we like to slice up the bacon and then wrap it around each sliced Brussel sprouts

Start adding layers of each start with Brussel sprout then added some bacon on top of that with this you will have about 3 layers

Once this is done pour the maple syrup over the top. Spreading over the whole thing

Then slide the pan into the oven and let them cook

Hints

If you would like the sprout to be more crispy then you will want to cook them in one layer and you may want to add a little oil to help the toast

Question answer:

Can I prep brussel sprouts ahead of time?

If you have a lot of food that you are making with this you can make it the day before and keep it in the fridge tell you’re ready to cook it.

Do I need to add oil to keep them from sticking or burning?

No with the bacon and the sauce, there should be plenty of oil to keep it from sticking.

How long can I keep leftovers?

You can keep leftovers in an airtight for about 3 days

This looks amazing! Can we use frozen Brussel sprouts? Or will that make them to mushy?

you can use them but it does tend to make them mushy as there tends to be an addental amount of water and the freezing process breaks bonds or something causing this.
