Why You'll Love This Recipe
- Simple to make
- Packed with fantastic flavor
- great for on the go
What You Need
Can of crescent rolls — easy to find at most stores. The 8-count can is convenient since we typically make eight, so they’re pre-divided for quick prep. Some prefer to cut them into squares instead of triangles.
Sausage gravy — we use the same gravy from our biscuits and gravy recipe, but it can easily be doubled. It’s a mix of sausage, milk, and spices. Feel free to use your favorite gravy, just make sure it’s room temperature or warmed — not hot — so the rolls rise properly.
How to Make
- - Prepare the gravy or cook the sauce and then make the gravy.
- - Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- - Grease at least eight cups of a muffin tin.
- - Roll out the crescent dough and cut into eight equal pieces. Place each piece into a muffin cup, forming a small cup, and spoon gravy into each.
- - Bake for 15 minutes.
- - Serve hot.

Variations
- - Try different kinds of gravy.
- - Change up the sausage.
- - Adjust the spices.
Storing
I usually don’t worry about storing them since they tend to disappear quickly, but if needed, don’t store in the fridge as they’ll get soggy. Instead, they can be frozen.
