This is a straightforward recipe that only takes 3 ingredients. It also takes less than half an hour to make but has an amazing outcome that the whole family will love when I was little it was one of the few ways I liked to have carrots and it is still one of my favorites. It only takes a few simple ingredients to make these amazing glazed carrots.

Growing up this was one of the few times that I looked forward to carrots not that I didn't like them but we just had them all of the time probably about every day. I’m pretty sure I had carrots in my lunch almost every day. Then we would have these, which would be more like candy and soft with dinner sometimes.

Part of the reasons we like this recipe is that it only takes a few ingredients to make and some heat and you can get some nice tasting carrots that everyone will love almost everywhere.

Once you have the water heated up the mix together and make sure that all carrot are covered and mix occasionally

    What you will need:

    • Carrots - you can use whatever carrots you want to cut up large carrots so that they are uniform they cook evenly. We like to use baby carrots as they start out similar at least part of the time.
    • Brown sugar - adds the sweetness that you need to make the carrots amazing  you can
    • Water - lets the carrots cook without burning and helps them soften

    Optional

    • Seasoning -adding some salt can help add additional flavor to this dish and pepper

You could even use some cinnamon which can be really nice addition but then I guess you would have cinnamon carrots.

If there is something else that you think would be good don’t be afraid  to try if you do not want to try it all the way then you can just add it to a serving that you are eating or even a smaller amount just it to the work that you are eating that is how we get new fun recipes is that people find different thing that they like and share then other or you can just have your own perfect family recipes that you all love

    Added the ingredient to pan

    Ways  to cook

    • Boil - heat the water carrots and sugar to a boil in a pan over medium-high heat lett. Cook says the weather has apparated  sterling occasionally
    • Slowcooker added all ingredients to the slow cooker and cook for about 2 hours
    • oven place carrots in an oven-safe dish and then cover with water sugar mixture
    • Instant pot - I know that It can be done but I haven't done it so I won't steal it from someone else

    Ingredients need

    • 1 pound baby carrots
    • ½ cup brown sugar
    • Cup water

    Instructions

    •  Put a small pan on the stove over medium heat and the water and the carrot.
    • Once the water begins to boil add the brown sugar  and stir to mix in the sugar and then
    • Let the cook tell you they reach your desired tenderness
For a different option you could also also added some cinnamon to them as well

    Note

If you like your carrots to be harder you can add less water or just pull them out sooner

If you would like to use other carrots you can do that you will just want to try and cut them so they are about the same size  so that they will cook evenly

When they are done the water is gone and pull them out and they are ready to eat

I'm personally not a big fan of carrots. This might be a good way to make them taste more to my liking.
