Ingredients
  

Korean Ground Beef
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
Fragrant
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger grated
Sauce
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha optional
For the Bowls
  • 4 cups cooked white rice
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • Green onions sliced
  • Sesame seeds

Method
 

  1. Cook the rice according to the package directions.
  2. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add the garlic and ginger and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, rice vinegar, Sriracha,
  5. Pour the sauce over the beef and simmer for 3–5 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the meat.
  6. Divide the rice among four bowls. Top with the Korean beef, carrots, and toppings Serve immediately.
