Ingredients

  • 3 Large Eggs
  • ½ cup All-purpose four
  • ½ cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vannilla
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • Salt Dash
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 tablespoon powder sugar topping
  • ¼ cup Blue Beries Optional

Equipment

  • Cast iron skillet
  • Mixing bowl

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 450. When the oven is close to being heated all the way, put the butter in the pan to melt. Don't leave it in too long or it could burn and will not taste good. Just long enough for the butter to melt all the way
  2. While the oven is preheating and the butter is melting, begin mixing the other ingredients together.
  3. First add dry ingredients flour, sugar, and salt and mix well. Then you can add the milk and vanilla.
  4. Once that is mixed all together, add the eggs. IMPORTANT: The secret to the fluffy fun is to not over mix the eggs. This allows each of the components to do its magic.
  5. Now that you have your batter and the butter is melted, pull the pan out and pour the batter in.  Place the pan back in the oven. Cook it for about 15-17 minutes until it is perfectly golden.
  6. Cut and plate it add desired toppings and enjoy
