    WHY YOU’LL LOVE THIS RECIPE

    • It only requires a few ingredients that you probably already have in your pantry.
    • A great way to free up some oven space if you're cooking a big holiday meal.
    • It's a delicious classic holiday dish that pairs well with any meal!

    INGREDIENTS YOU’LL NEED

Butter -  helps with the cooking of the vegetables and added a nice flavor

Dry bread crumbs -made part of the stuffing. Can find them at the store or you can make them yourself.

Eggs - help with binding the stuffing together

Low sodium chicken bro- adds a nice flavor and adds moisture to the bread crumbs

Vegetables - added additional texture and a fresh flavor

Seasoning - Helps to add additional flavor to the stuffing

MAKING STUFFING IN A CROCK POT

Cook the veggies: Heat butter in a  skillet over medium heat. Add onion, celery, and seasoning. Cook for 7-8 minutes or until the onions are soft and translucent.

Assemble the cooking liquid: mix broth and eggs in a  bowl and set aside.

In a very large bowl, add bread crumbs, and vegetables. Fold into the dry bread crumbs while slowly adding in chicken broth.

Spray the slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Add stuffing and cook on high for 3-4 hours.

    RECIPE TIPS

    • Depending on how dry the bread crumbs are. You may use more or less chicken broth. It will be around 2 - 3 cups and the stuffing should be moist, but there should be no standing fluid.

    • If making more than one batch you may want to do it in more than one batch of vegetables and mix it together in the crockpot or you will need an extra big pan.
