Method
- Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion, celery, and seasoning. Cook for 4-5 minutes or until the onions are soft and translucent.
- In a bowl mix eggs and chicken broth together and set aside for later.
- In a very large bowl, add bread crumbs, and vegetables. Fold into the dry bread crumbs while slowly adding in chicken broth.
- Spray the slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Add stuffing and cook on high for 3-4 hours.
Notes
- Depending on how dry the bread crumbs are. You may use more or less chicken broth. It will be around 2 - 3 cups and the stuffing should be moist, but there should be no standing fluid.
- If doing more than one batch you may need to do it in more than one batch in the vegetables and mix it together.
