Zucchini bread

Zucchini bread is a nice fresh warm chocolatey way to use up some zucchini throughout the year so they don’t overwhelm you. It’s also great for sharing people love zucchini bread.

Ingredients
  

Dry mix
  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
Wet mix
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • ½ cup packed light or dark brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups shredded zucchini
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a bread pan 9x5
  2. Mix the dry ingredients
  3. Mix wet ingredients in a separate bowl
  4. Once combined well mix both and pour into the bread pan
  5. Put in oven and cook for 55 minutes check with a toothpick and make sure it comes out clean if not cook for 5 10 minutes and try again
